There's gonna be a LOT of HDDVD-based bitterness for quite some time. And while Toshiba is clamoring the bells of HD...the film industry is no doubt going to call for a quick and maybe not-so-quiet death of the format, considering their God (money) is heavily involved.

Sonic Adventure did have some lame-ass voice acting. Along with tons of other PS1 and Dreamcast titles. have any of you heard the dialogue in Blue Stinger? *shivers* horrible.
Yeah, this is the first gen to launch in my 20's. Last gen launched when I was 16, and I was still young enough to get that surreal satisfaction I got from playing a game until 4am almost nightly. Now, that I'm married and working full time, reality is just too much to get that kind of enjoyment from video games on a regular basis....that and the fanboys don't make it any better.

I still have my original v1.0 copy of Vampire Bloodlines, and thank god for those hardcore patchers, because I bought it and didn't touch it for almost a year because of the glitchy mess it was. Yep, you saw it right. I got one a couple weeks ago from Gamestop for a very-worth-it $30. Yeah, that opening was definitely lackluster. Glad they brought out the good stuff to debut the trailers, because had they released this as a first trailer, the entire internet would be in tears of rage. Granted, a little emotional stuff here and there can be good for a game, that was a little much, not to mention the music was putting me to sleep.

Pretty much whichever one is considered superior is a matter of opinion and nothing more. For the most part I liked both, they both controlled well, and the graphics didn't completely hinder the game or anything, it was still enjoyable and very playable.

Well, Zhuk, I gotta say that I agree with you about the Saturn truly being the superior console hardware-wise (yes, the saturn WAS truly more powerful...first to use dual processors, if you don't believe me, look up the Saturn build of Shenmue and I DARE you to tell me that the PS1 could pull that off.), but because of this it was also unnecessarily complicated, resulting in extremely inferior ports.

I know Sony has lost a few thousand wallets worth of cash on blu-ray, but at least IT will still be a viable format in a year, where HD-DUD is like keeping a vegetable alive on life-support.
